The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Spc. Andrew C. Wilfahrt, 31, of Rosemount, MN.

He died on February 27, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.

U.S. troop death from Afghanistan - Firtamag

The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Staff Sgt. Jerome Firtamag, 29, of Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia.

He was medically evacuated from Kandahar, Afghanistan, to the United States on December 1, 2010, for treatment of a non-combat related illness. He died on February 24 in Pembroke, KY.
