The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Pfc. Douglas J. Jeffries Jr., 20, of Springville, CA.
He died of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device on September 8 in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
