The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army First Sgt. Billy J. Siercks, 32, of Velda Village, MO.
He died on September 28 in Landstuhl, Germany, of wounds suffered on September 27 in Logar, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit using indirect fire.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
