The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Spc. Pernell J. Herrera, 33, of Espanola, NM.
He died on December 31 in Helmand province, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered in a non-combat incident.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
