U.S. troop death in Afghanistan - Griffin

The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin J. Griffin, 45, of Laramie, WY.

He died on August 8 in Sarkowi, Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when he encountered an insurgent who detonated a suicide vest.

May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
