U.S. troop death from Afghanistan - Schoonhoven

The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Sgt. Mark H. Schoonhoven, 38, of Plainwell, MI.

He died on January 20 at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, from wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device on December 15, 2012, in Kabul, Afghanistan.

May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
