U.S. troop death in Afghanistan - Alvarez

The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Spc. Kenneth Clifford Alvarez, 23, of Santa Maria, CA.

He died on August 23 in Haft Asiab, Afghanistan, from wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device during combat operations.

May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
