U.S. troop death in Afghanistan - Welch

The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Spc. Nickolas S. Welch, 26, of Mill City, OR.

He died on August 6 in Bethesda, MD, of injuries sustained on July 23, when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device in Soltan Kheyl, Wardak Province, Afghanistan.

May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
