The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Staff Sgt. Kenneth R. Vangiesen, 30, of Erie, PA.
He died on July 18 in Ghazni province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his convoy with an improvised explosive device.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
