The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Capt. Matthew G. Nielson, 27, of Jefferson, IA.
He died on June 29 in Badrah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with indirect fire.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
