The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army 1st Lt. Robert N. Bennedsen, 25, of Vashon, WA.
He died on July 18 at Qalat, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
