The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Jarod Newlove, 25, of Renton, WA.
He died from wounds sustained from an incident in Logar province, Afghanistan, on July 23.
Coalition forces recovered his body July 28 after an extensive search. He had been previously listed as Duty Status Whereabouts Unknown (DUSTWUN).
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
