The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Marine Gunnery Sgt. Ralph E. Pate Jr., 29, of Mullins, SC.
He died on June 26 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
