The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Sgt. Jeffrey C. S. Sherer, 29, of Four Oaks, NC.
He died on June 2 in Zabul province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
