The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Sgt. Eric C. Newman, 30, of Waynesboro, MS.
He died on October 14 in Akatzai Kalay, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
