The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Sgt. Matthew D. Hermanson, 22, of Appleton, WI.
He died on April 28 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
