The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Sgt. 1st Class Clifford E. Beattie, 37, of Medical Lake, WA.
He died on May 22 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
