The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Staff Sgt. David D. Self, 29, of Pearl, MS.
He died on died May 16 of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit in Zabul province, Afghanistan, using an improvised explosive device.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
