The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Spc. Patrick L. Lay II, 21, of Fletcher, NC.
He died on August 11 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
