The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Army Staff Sgt. Kirk A. Owen, 37, of Sapulpa, OK.
He died on August 2 in Paktia province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
