The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the death of Navy Special Warfare Operator Petty Officer 1st Class (SEAL/Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist) Jon T. Tumilson, 35, of Rockford, IA.
He died on August 6 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when his CH-47 Chinook helicopter crashed.
May he rest in peace as he couldn't in this life.
